Each year, the Government produces several documents to communicate the key elements of the State Budget. The suite of Budget papers for 2011-12 includes:

- Budget Strategy and Outlook (Budget Paper 2)
- Capital Statement (Budget Paper 3)
- Budget Measures (Budget Paper 4)
- Service Delivery Statements (Budget Paper 5)
- Appropriation Bills
